Hi!  My name is Deborah Goodman and I am from Edenton, North Carolina.  I am an Educator on Loan with the Instructional Technology Division of the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.  I have 18 years experience in education.  The last five have been in my present position. 

I have had the opportunity to meet and learn from so many people in our state.  Many of these connections have led to other connections outside our state.  Educators and students around the world are collaborating on various topics and projects.  One project that I am excited about participating in is the Webcast Academy where I am learning to be a

webcaster.  This new learning adventure will give me another avenue for reaching a wider audience and a way to make connections with others who share the same interests as me. 

I am a life long learner and have always embraced technology.  I know that we live in a

digital world that is ever changing.  I don't want to be left behind.
